Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
A standing opt-out for residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws.
Effective date: May 2, 2026
Current status
BuilderGrid does not currently sell or share personal information about individual users, employees, contractors, clients, or other people whose information appears in the platform. The data products we offer or intend to offer are built on aggregated, anonymized, de-identified, and entity-level data, as described in our Privacy Policy. Entity-level data refers to information about businesses, projects, properties, and markets that is not associated with an identified or identifiable individual.
We publish this page so that residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other jurisdictions with comprehensive privacy laws can submit a standing opt-out request now. If our practices ever change in a way that constitutes a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under applicable law, your request on file will be honored from that point forward without you having to take further action.
How to submit a request
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share Request" and include:
- The full name and email address associated with your BuilderGrid account, if any.
- The state in which you reside.
- A statement that you are requesting to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
We will acknowledge receipt within ten business days and complete processing within forty-five days, with the option to extend by an additional forty-five days where permitted by law. We may need to verify your identity before processing the request, in which case we will contact you using the email address you provided.
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. The agent must provide written authorization signed by you, and we may contact you to confirm both the agent’s authority and your identity before processing the request.
Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request for the browser and device transmitting the signal, in line with the California Privacy Rights Act and equivalent state laws. You do not need to submit a separate request if your browser is configured to send GPC.
No discrimination
We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide you a different quality of service because you exercised this right.
Other privacy rights
You also have rights to access, correct, delete, port, and limit the use of your personal information. Those rights and the process for exercising them are described in our Privacy Policy.
