About

Built by people who have run the work.

BuilderGrid is construction project management for residential builders running portfolios in the middle of the market, where the spreadsheet has stopped working and the enterprise platforms are priced for someone else.

Why this exists

Residential construction software today comes in two common shapes. Spreadsheets that work right up until they don’t, and enterprise platforms priced and shaped for portfolios much larger than a typical residential builder. BuilderGrid is built for the middle of that market, for residential builders who have outgrown one and are not yet a fit for the other.

The product is shaped by people who have run residential portfolios. The day-to-day rhythm of budgets, draws, change orders, lien waivers, daily logs, and inspections is what the platform is anchored to, because that is the work the people behind it have done.

What we stand for

We try to take care of customers and take care of the team in equal measure. That looks like honoring commitments, communicating fast when something goes wrong, and making sure the people who build the product are the same ones supporting it a year from now. Pricing is transparent, contracts are simple, and customer data stays the customer’s. If a customer decides to leave, they leave with a complete export of their work and no friction on the way out.

How the work is funded

BuilderGrid is funded by Spin Up Capital, the holding and investment company that backs the platform’s development. Spin Up Capital is jointly owned by Blue Brick Partners and an operating partner, structured as a joint venture. The arrangement keeps the people directing the product close to active residential construction, which is what the product is built to serve.
